功率器件的标称连续电流通常使用上述公式来计算。然而计算所得的 Ids 仅为电流的上限。通常半导体器件提供商会设定一个安全裕量,标称的电流会小于计算出来的电流上限
举例说明,CoolMOS IPB65R095C7 (TO263), Rdson@TJmax=0.202, RthJC=0.98, Idsmax from 计算所得电流为25.13A,这个器件实际标称值为24A。芯干线XG6508B8计算所得电流为22.1A,而实际标称值仅为15A。这是考虑到DFN表面贴器件实际散热能力比直插封装要差一些的原因
